Schengen Days uses your email address to send sign-in codes and keep your travel record in your account. You can add stays manually or connect Google Calendar to find possible trips. You can review and correct every estimated stay.

What we read from Google Calendar

The first import reads your primary calendar. Calendar settings let you choose which calendars to read on later imports. We read calendar names and identifiers, and event titles, locations, start and end times, time zones, source links and update details within the import date range. We also read limited attendance and organizer flags to help exclude declined events and identify bookings that may belong to someone else. We do not request attendee names or email addresses.

This includes travel bookings that Google has already added to your calendar from email. Schengen Days does not read your Gmail inbox or full event descriptions.

What we store

Your own Cloudflare Durable Object stores your email, login sessions, Calendar connection identifiers, calendar selections, travel dates and countries, relevant booking titles and source links, saved plans, and corrections you make. It also stores temporary sign-in challenges and request limits. We do not ask for passport or payment details.

How we use it

We use this information to estimate your days in the last 180 days, show the dates behind the count, and check future stays. The annual summary is a separate travel statistic. The app only reads calendar events; it does not create, edit, share, or delete calendars or events. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Understanding your travel

The app selects possible travel bookings by their titles. Cloudflare Workers AI receives those titles, locations and dates to recognize places and their local time zones. It does not receive your sign-in email, attendee or organizer fields, full event descriptions, source links or connection tokens. Any personal information in a selected title or location is included in that processing.

The app validates the returned places, takes dates from source bookings, groups related bookings into stays, and calculates the day count in code. Unchanged travel bookings reuse the saved analysis. A failed import keeps your previous result. You can inspect and correct the dates at any time.

Google Calendar permissions

Composio’s standard Google connection requests permission to read, edit, share, and permanently delete calendars and events you can access. These permissions are broader than Schengen Days uses. Our app only sends read requests for the calendars you select. You can review Google’s permission screen before approving access, or add stays manually without connecting Google.

Services that process your data

Cloudflare hosts the app, stores each user’s data separately, and sends sign-in emails. Composio manages Google authorization and stores and refreshes connection tokens. Calendar API requests pass through Composio. Google supplies calendar events. Access is limited to running these functions. Google API data is used in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Cookies and sign-in

We use essential cookies to complete email sign-in, keep you signed in, and verify your Google connection. The sign-in and connection cookies expire after 10 minutes. The session cookie lasts up to 30 days and is cleared when you sign out or delete your account. The app does not use advertising cookies.

Website analytics

Cloudflare adds a Web Analytics script to this site to measure page views and loading performance. This processing is separate from your saved travel record. See Cloudflare’s data collection documentation for the metrics it collects.

Print and PDF exports

Print travel log opens a preview in your browser. PDF downloads are generated on your device from the travel record already loaded in the page; we do not upload the generated PDF to a server. Copies you download, print or share are outside the app and are not removed when you delete your account.

Control and deletion

Open account settings and choose Disconnect & delete data to delete your account, stored travel history, saved plans, corrections and sessions. This is one combined action. Your Google Calendar events are kept. The app also asks Composio to remove its connection records and revoke Google access. If that cleanup fails, we tell you how to remove access in Google account connections. Revoking access at Google alone does not delete already saved dates from Schengen Days. Signing out also keeps your saved travel record.

Your saved account and travel record stay in the app until you delete your account. Service providers may retain backups and security logs under their own retention policies. The app does not intentionally put tokens or event content in logs.

Demo data

The demo uses fictional travel. Demo changes stay in the page and disappear when you reload. The demo does not read your Google account or send its fictional trips for AI analysis. Demo exports are marked as fictional.

About the count

Calendar bookings can miss trips or differ from actual travel. Check your dates. This app applies the standard rolling count and does not decide visa eligibility or permission to enter.
